There is a special election today in Illinois for Denny Hastert's vacant seat. This is going to serve, perhaps as a barometer of elections in the fall. I would love to see the Democrat Bill Foster win this...nothing better than perhaps having a veto/filibuster proof Congress for the next president...stay tuned!!!

The Democrat Bill Foster wins with 53% of the vote to the Republican's 47%. This has to be a wake up call to all republicans running for re-election...A good place for them to start their rehabilitation....help the Democrats override fearful leader's veto of the intelligence bill

The special election in Louisiana is getting interesting. Democrat Don Cazayuox versus republican Woody Jenkins. Can the Dems go 2 for 2????

I think the old adage you live by the sword you die by the sword comes to mind...OR what goes around comes around . They must be all scared to death Could we see a filibuster proof congress?!?!
Maybe we could have a progressive Congress that actually possibly could turn this ship around

Here is the daily running totals for the Democratic Delegates from the Dailykos website I started a cut and paste on the 16th of May. I found that it helped me see the trend of a trickle to Obama. Some Super Delegates switching to Obama and others just deciding to support Obama. This trickle has all but offset the West Virginia and Kentucky edge Clinton got from winning those states. This daily trickle is really not being reported if it was reported on the news services as a daily feature the trickle would probably turn into a flood!!!!
